BULLYLAND 1:20 Scale Figure Review
Modern soldiers wearing woodland pattern camouflage uniforms on patrol in a remote sector of the garden. These 90 mm ready-painted toy soldiers are perfect for garden wargaming. The miniatures represent generic modern infantry, using a variety of US and NATO equipment. There are no opponents for these troops, but BULLYLAND offers a range of compatible pre-historic animals like the Stegosaurus, Allosaurus, Velociraptor, Tyrannosaurus, Liliensternus, Batrachotomus, Dilophosaurus, Sabre-Tooth Tigre, Wholly Rhino, and Giant Mammoth, which can be used to great effect in a “what-if” garden skirmish game. Super-Heros like Spiderman and Batman are available to fight alongside these troops.

Evaluation
Excellent choice of subject, these modern soldiers are unique in 1:20 scale.
Realistic poses suitable for wargaming. The standing, prone, and kneeling soldiers are in typical combat poses which do not look out of place even if used several times in a section or fire team. Individual figures may be customized with painted rank badges and unit insignia to differentiate them from similar men in their squad. The figures show a lot of individual character, and they will be fun to play with.
Sold fully painted and ready to play. The paint is flexible and will stay on even if the figures are handled frequently. However, the paint will rub off at the edges of boots, packs, and weapons if figures are tossed around carelessly.
Compatible with LGB Lehmann G-scale garden railroad equipment, modern civilian plastic figures, pre-historic animals, and fantasy figures in 1:20 to 1:22.5 scale.
Made from PVC-free soft plastic.
The fatigue blouse of the prone soldier was only partially painted. The arms show a three-colour camouflage pattern, but the front and back of the blouse is plain olive green.
BULLYLAND 1:20 scale modern soldiers are good value for money. The troops are sold fully painted and ready to play, saving the modern skirmish gamer a lot of valuable time.
