Brunswick Green

Brunswick Green.

Brunswick Green, light green-bluish copper colour, is precipitated from a solution of copper vitriol and cream of tartar with a little arsenic of potash, using milk of lime. It consists of basic copper carbonate and is used as water, oil and lime paint. It is of low intensity at first, but as an oil colour it delivers a quite nice green in the end.
