MicroMachines Star Wars Collection 3 from left to right: Jawa, Yoda, and Princess Leia in Boushh Disguise. These character figures may be used as leaders and heros in Star Wars role-playing or simulation games. Crossfire players will be happy to add these miniatures to the regular Star Wars figure sets avaiable from Galoob which are just one figure short of a platoon. The plastic heads included in this set may be opened to reveal miniature vignettes inside.

Evaluation

• Excellent choice of subject, the Star Wars personalities are unique in this scale. Galoob was purchased by Hasbro in 1998, and re-releases of these figures are still available at toy stores or on the internet.
• The figures are made of a soft vinyl plastic which holds the paint very well.
• Compatible with Fujimi, Matchbox, Nitto, and VAC-U-CAST.
• The miniature heads may not be particularly popular with wargamers, although they might have their uses as game objectives and scenic effects.

MicroMachines Star Wars Collection 3 offers additional personality figures which may be used to complete period wargame infantry units. Galoob offers a set of nine Jawas who will be happy to have the additional figure in this set as their tribal leader.
