Schneider CA1 Infantry Tank

Char d'assaut Schneider CA1. The Char Schneider first saw action on 16 April, 1917, at Chemin des Dames. Of a total of 132 Schneider tanks employed, 57 were destroyed, and many were damaged beyond repair. Many losses were due to exploding fuel tanks, which were located next to the hull MG positions.
