German Panzer IV Ausf. G3

G3 was a standard factory upgrade of the earlier Panzer IV Ausf. F2, with 80 mm of frontal armour, and the 7.5 cm L.48 Kampfwagenkanone KwK 39 tank gun. Because of its improved frontal armour, Panzer IV Ausf. G3 was nose-heavy. The suspension bogie wheels had been redesigned to correct this problem, but the vehicle still tilted forward noticeably.
