Israeli Infantry Company 1948

Rifles are Czech copies of the German Mauser K 98 or US M1 carbines. SMG are Czech copies of the German MP 40, British STEN or US Thompson Sub-Machine Guns. LMG are Czech copies of the German MG 34. Transport may be provided by US M3 Half-Tracks or requisitioned civilian trucks. The Support Company at battalion level had four Besa MMG, four 81 mm Mortars and one 2.36" Bazooka.

Rifles are Czech copies of the German Mauser K 98 or US M1 carbines. SMG are Czech copies of the German MP 40, British STEN or US Thompson Sub-Machine Guns. LMG are Czech copies of the German MG 34. The Support Company at battalion level had M3 Half-Tracks with 2-pdr or 6-pdr anti-tank guns, British Universal Carriers and Humber Mk IV Armoured Cars.
