BTR-50P Armoured Personnel Carrier

The amphibious, open-topped BTR-50P armoured personnel carrier was developed in 1952, based on the chassis of the PT-76 amphibious light tank, and entered service with the Soviet Army in 1954. The BTR-50P was armed with a 7.62 mm SGMB machine gun and could transport 20 fully equipped infantrymen.
