Oxide Red RAL 3009
Oxide Red RAL 3009, colour of the toxic red lead [lead(II,IV) oxide] used in Germany from 1939 to 2012 as a pigment in the production of rustproof primer paints. From November 1944 until the end of the war, the oxide red primer served as the base colour of the three-colour camouflage pattern of the Wehrmacht.
