Dismounts
Dismounts (Ger. Absitzstärke), the number of infantrymen who may leave an armoured or unarmoured fighting vehicle to conduct dismounted combat. With a total crew of twelve men, the SPz Marder infantry fighting vehicle had a strength of up to 10 dismounts if the commander dismounted as the squad leader and only the driver and gunner remained in the Marder.
