The ESCI 1:72 scale light tractor 3 t, Sd.Kfz. 11, first released in 1975, has consisted of 124 parts since 1989, 49 of which are used for the polystyrene tracks. Separating the 32 individual track links from the newly developed 1988 sprue (Art. 8343), and then deburring and assembling them, is a meditative challenge the modeller has to be fully prepared for. If successful, the light tractor looks significantly more convincing on its new tracks rather than the stubborn old soft plastic tracks used before 1989.
This leichter Zugkraftwagen 3 t is an excellent motorized limber for the 2 cm FlaK-Vierling 38 or 7.5 cm PaK 40, both of which are available in a kit without prime movers ESCI 8020).
