The 1:72 scale ESCI m. Flammpanzerwagen, Sd.Kfz. 251/16 Ausführung C, medium flamethrower carrier is based on an Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf. C with additional parts for the 1.4 cm Flammwerfer 42. This appears to be a prototype of the medium flamethrower carrier, as series production was based on the chassis of the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausführung D.
This used ESCI model of the Sd.Kfz. 251/16 Ausf. C still runs on the stubborn soft plastic tracks which were replaced in 1988 by better polystyrene tracks (Art. 8343).
