Good choice of subject, the Truck, 5 t, 6×6, IFA G5 is an excellent prime mover for field artillery of the East German army.
The ESPEWE 1:87 scale IFA G5 truck, 5 t, 6×6 is sold fully assembled, ready to play. Mould lines and sprue on the fenders, the truck bed, and canvas tilt need to be removed prior to painting.
The dark olive green plastic of the ESPEWE model is a good match for Humbrol 114 »Russian Green«. The model may be used unpainted, but it does look much better with a RAL 6003 »Olive Green« camouflage paint and a little weathering.
The unrealistically thick 0.8 mm guide sticks should be replaced by ones made of paintbrush bristles.
