Gunze Sangyo Aqueous H402 »Green Brown« compared to Gunze Panzer Color TC 2 »Green Brown«, the equivalent of RAL 8000 »Yellow Brown«, and AK Real Colors RC064 »Earth Yellow RAL 8002«.

Gunze Sangyo H402 »Green Brown« is noticeably more reddish than RAL 8000 »Yellow Brown«. The mistake may be corrected by adding a tiny amount of black. Gunze TC 2 »Grünbraun« is undoubtedly the first choice when it comes to the base colour for large equipment of the German Afrika Korps from March 1941 onwards. Depending on the size of the model to be painted, both colours need to be tinted with white to account for aerial perspective, of course.
