Humbrol Acrylic 93 »Desert Yellow« is darker than B.S.C. № 61 »Light Stone« or B.S.C. № 64 »Portland Stone«, but it may be used as »Yellow Brown RAL 8000« on 1:72 scale vehicles.
Humbrol 93 »Desert Yellow« matches the FS 30257 »Earth Yellow« of US Army MERDC “Red Desert” and “Grey Desert” vehicle camouflage patterns.
We use Humbrol 93 »Desert Yellow« tinted with 50 % »White« as the base colour of the German Sumpfmuster tan aqueous camouflage pattern and Zeltbahn M31.
