Humbrol Enamel 101 »Dragoon Green« is too light and much too saturated to match any of the green dragoon or chasseur uniforms we could find in our library of Funcken, Haythornwaite, Huen, Osprey, or Blandford uniform guides, although it is a perfect match for the light green facing colour of Hanoverian Feldjägercorps von Kielmansegg, illustrated on plate 74 of Haythornwaite‘s Uniforms of the Napoleonic Wars in Colour, 1796–1814. The colour needs to be tinted and shaded to match a desaturated and muted French dragoon or chasseur green.
