8.8 cm L/74,4 Flak 41 on Pz.Sfl. IVc “Grille 10”

8.8 cm L/74,4 Flak 41 on Pz.Sfl. IVc “Grille 10”, 1:87 H0 ROCO 105.

The ROCO 1:87 scale model of the 8.8 cm L/74,4 Flak 41 Panzerselbstlafette IV Ausf. C “Grille 10” represents the prototype of the experimental anti-aircraft vehicle Versuchsflakwagen 8.8 cm L/74,4 Flak 41 auf Sonderfahrgestell, built by Krupp in 1942, which, however, never went into production. ROCO seems to have had a penchant for prototypes, which occasionally appeared in their product range and were then produced and sold in numbers that Krupp could only dream of. There‘s certainly nothing wrong with using one or two Pz.Sfl. IVc “Grille 10” as anti-aircraft vehicles in wargames.
