This vintage ROCO 1:87 scale Flakpanzer IV “Ostwind” (East Wind) features a noticeably small turret, offering little space for its crew. The 3.7 cm Flak 43, with a barrel circumference of approximately 113 mm, is rather robust, and the Pz.Kpfw. IV chassis is practically void of equipment. Spare track links, spare road wheels, rack jack, Notek Kfz-Nachtmarschgerät, and many other details are missing; this Flakpanzer IV “East Wind” cannot compete with its more recent reissue (ROCO 791). However, those who enjoy model building and need a cheap anti-aircraft vehicle for simulation games should be able to transform this dated ROCO Flakpanzer IV “East Wind” into an attractive model.
