ROCO 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review
The vintage ROCO 1:87 scale Flakpanzer IV “Möbelwagen” (Furniture Van), Sd.Kfz. 161/3, represents the early version of the self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, whose folding side panels extended above the front and rear armour. Only 45 vehicles of this early version were built, compared to 195 vehicles of the main series with lower side panels.
The robust gun barrel has a circumference of approximately 113 mm, and the Pz.Kpfw. IV chassis is practically void of equipment. Spare track links, spare road wheels, rack jack, Notek Kfz-Nachtmarschgerät, and many other details are missing. However, those who enjoy model building and need a cheap anti-aircraft vehicle for simulation games should be able to transform this dated ROCO Flakpanzer IV “Möbelwagen” into an attractive model.
