This captured ROCO 1:87 scale WC-56 Truck, ¾ ton, 4×4, Command / Reconnaissance, w/o Winch, Dodge (G-502) sports a three-color camouflage paint scheme of the Wehrmacht and now serves its new owners as a battalion command vehicle.
The Dodge WC-56 Command / Reconnaissance is an excellent all-terrain command car or light recce vehicle for Allied forces of World War Two, and an occasional capture for the Wehrmacht in wargames. On page 103 of his Battle! Practical Wargaming rules, Charles Grant included a photo of the Dodge WC-56 as the battalion command vehicle of Airfix 1:76 scale Soviet Infantry.
The soft top may be removed, and the windshield folded down, if the Dodge WC-56 is to be armed with a machine gun.
