Sash Windows for Old West Buildings in Dioramas and Wargames
Shop window, hung sash window, and small sash window für Georgian (1720–1840) or Victorian (1837–1901) buildings. The hung sash window has a fixed top sash and sliding bottom sash which may be pushed up to allow air in. The window sashes were constructed inside the partially completed window frame, using 1 × 1 mm pinewood strips. After painting, the windows may be glazed with clear plastic sheet.
Once the windows are in place, the window frames may be finished with pinewood strips attached to the inside and outside of the frame. Cracks between the window and the window opening in wall will be hidden behind the window frame.
