Vallejo Model Color 70.830 »German Field Grey RAL 7009«, the equivalent of modern RAL 7009 »Green Grey«, compared to Tamiya XF-65 »Field Grey« and Revell 361.67 »Green Grey RAL 7009«. Vallejo 70.830 »German Field Grey RAL 7009« is an excellent match for Field Grey No. 2, but it still needs to be tinted to account for aerial perspective.
While Tamiya XF-65 »Field Grey« has a noticeable bluish cast, and Revell 361.67 »Green Grey RAL 7009« is too greenish and too saturated to be perfect matches, they are both perfectly acceptable uniform colours of the German army in World War One.
