Opel Blitz 3 t A-Type Van
Wiking 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review

The Wiking 1:87 scale medium all-terrain truck Opel Blitz 3 t A-type with standardized van body is fitted with an LC-Koffer (mot.) Kfz. 305/… with walkway roof, introduced in 1933 as an office van, ambulance, dental clinic, warehouse, workshop van etc. for the German Luftwaffe, although rarely with the all-wheel drive chassis chosen by Wiking. This appears to be a requisitioned civilian vehicle, as the Wiking Opel Blitz lacks stowage boxes, Peilstangen, Notek Kfz-Nachtmarschgerät, jerrycans, tools, and other military equipment.
This vintage Opel Blitz 3-ton A-type truck with a closed, standardized body is not as ubiquitous as the ROCO Opel Blitz 3 t A-Type Van, but it can sometimes be found cheaply online or at flea markets. There‘s probably nothing wrong with using this medium truck with standardized van body as a German army radio truck, workshop, or kitchen vehicle in wargames.
Compatible with HO scale model railway equipment and miniatures by Faller, Märklin, Noch, Pola, Preiser, and ROCO.
