The 1-87 World Tanks Depot Char Schneider CA1 is sold fully assembled and painted, ready to play. The tank has dark green disruptive stripes, the equivalent of Revell 36.363 »Dark Green«, over a RAL 1020 »Olive Yellow« base.
The tactical marking of a 2nd battery – a black heart on a white background – of the French Artillerie Spéciale, to which the tanks were assigned in World War I, is not enough to assign this Schneider CA1 tank to a specific battalion. The tank‘s affiliation with an artillery battalion was indicated by an Arabic numeral, and the four tanks of a battery were distinguished by Roman numerals from I to IV.
Cast in white metal, this Char Schneider CA1 weighs 70 g. The vehicle still needs to be weathered, and it should be protected with a layer of clear varnish to reduce the risk of the enamel paint chipping off.
