World Tanks Depot 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review
The 1-87 World Tanks Depot T-72B1 main battle tank is sold fully assembled and painted, ready to play. Cast in white metal, this T-72B1 weighs 160 g. Not a problem, if one or two models are to be used in a modern skirmish game, but the weight quickly adds up if an entire company of T-72s were to be deployed.
The turret turns, but the 125 mm gun cannot be elevated. The metal is relatively soft, suggestive of a high lead content. Machine guns and other small parts are easily bent.
The vehicle still needs to be weathered, and it should be protected with a layer of clear varnish to reduce the risk of the enamel paint chipping off.
