Infantry Point.

Infantry point (Ger. Infanteriespitze), of the advance guard or rear guard, 1 officer with at least one section (1 NCO, 8 men), marching directly in front of the vanguard, or behind the rearguard, s. point and security. As a rule, the cavalry point is advanced beyond the infantry point.
