Section
Section (Ger. Sektion), a sub-unit of the platoon, of the infantry, which may be adopted either by wheeling away, by breaking off, or deploying forward. The strength of the section must not be be more than six or less than four files.
The picture shows a section of German infantry in four files of two men. These 40 mm miniatures were cast in Zinnbrigade moulds and painted with artist oil paints.
