ROCO 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review
The vintage ROCO 1:87 scale self-propelled 2 cm Flak-Vierling 38 auf Fahrgestell Panzer IV represent the single prototype of the planned Flakpanzers IV which was presented at the Erprobungsstelle Kummersdorf on 16 October 1943, but never entered production. Instead, in December of that year, it was decided to arm the vehicle with the 3.7 cm Flak 43; see Flakpanzer IV “Möbelwagen”.
This ROCO prototype can easily be converted into a Flakpanzer IV “Möbelwagen” by replacing the 2 cm Flak-Vierling 38 with a 3.7 cm Flak from ROCO, e.g. from the model of the 3.7 cm FlaK 36 on Sfl. Sd.Kfz. 7/2.
Compatible with HO scale model railway equipment and miniatures by Faller, Märklin, Noch, Pola, Preiser, and ROCO.
