M41 Walker Bulldog Light Tank

ROCO 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review

M41 Walker Bulldog Light Tank, 1:87 H0 ROCO 207.

The ROCO 1:87 scale M41 Walker Bulldog Light Tank represents the US Army reconnaissance vehicle, which replaced the M24 Chaffee light tank in the armored cavalry regiments and the reconnaissance platoons of infantry and armored divisions in 1953, and was replaced by the M551 “Sheridan” armored reconnaissance vehicle in 1969.

The turret and hull surfaces of the model show a lot of beautiful detail, which can be further accentuated by painting. However, the numerous brackets for spare track links, jerrycans, and equipment are missing from the turret sides.

The model is sold fully assembled, ready to play. Mould lines and sprue need to be removed prior to painting.

Compatible with HO scale model railway equipment and miniatures by ESPEWE, Faller, Märklin, Noch, Pola, Preiser, and Wespe Models.

The ROCO M41 Walker Bulldog light tank can occasionally be found at auctions and flea markets for very little money.
