The ROCO 1:87 scale M548 Cargo Carrier is a model of the unarmoured tracked cargo carrier on the chassis of the M113 armoured personnel carrier, which entered service with the US Army in 1960. The M548 tracked cargo carrier is a key supply vehicle for self-propelled artillery. The gun crew of an M110 Self-Propelled Howitzer consisted of 13 soldiers, the gun commander, driver, and three gunners who rode the self-propelled gun, and eight ammunition numbers in an M548 cargo carrier, for example.
The model is sold fully assembled, ready to play. Mould lines and sprue need to be removed prior to painting.
