ROCO 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review
The ROCO 1:87 scale 8.8 cm Fliegerabwehrkanone 36/37, deployed in firing position and, to the right of it, one of the two dual-wheel trucks of its Sd.Ah. 202 trailer. This 8.8 cm FlaK is a fully articulated model, but actually limbering and unlimbering the anti-aircraft gun in wargames can be very fiddly business. The tiny pins which connect the fixed crossbeams of the carriage to the trucks of the Sd.Ah. 202 can break off during handling. It‘s probably better to procure two of these guns, and base one in firing position and the other on the march, being towed by the medium prime mover 8 t, Sd.Kfz 7. This is the easiest way to handle the guns and have them well protected against damage.
