The ROCO 1:87 scale 15 cm schwere Panzerhaubitze “Hummel” is a 15 cm sFH 18/1 L/30 howitzer on a Geschützwagen III/IV chassis with late production driver and radio operator compartment. This ROCO minitanks model comes with a Panzerscheinwerfer, rack jack, antenna mount, spare track links and road wheels, Rundblickfernrohr 18 gun sight, and interior ammunition rack, but the Abstandsrücklicht of the Kfz-Nachtmarschgerät is missing.
The 3rd Battery of the Panzerartillerieregiment of a Panzerdivision was equipped with six Panzerhaubitzen “Hummel” self-propelled howitzers and two Munitionsträgern “Hummel” ammunition carriers, which typically translates to two “Hummel” SP howitzers and one “Hummel” ammunition carrier in popular simulation games.
