South Vietnamese M41.A3 Walker Bulldog Light Tank

In January 1965, ARVN armored cavalry regiments began to receive American M41.A3 Walker Bulldog light tanks which gradually replaced the long obsolete and mechanically worn-out M24 Chaffe light tanks of the armoured cavalry tank squadron. The 6th, 9th, 10th and 16th Armored Cavalry Regiment (ARVN) had three mechanized infantry squadrons and no tank squadron, because the amphibious M113 ACAV was more suitable for operations in the Mekong Delta.

The M41 Walker Bulldog light tank is available in all popular modelling scales. ARVN tank commanders and drivers may have to be converted by mounting Vietnamese heads with the black ARVN cavalry beret on suitable vehicle crew figures.
