Battle Order
Battle Order, a configuration of the 1937 Pattern Web Equipment consisting of the waistbelt, two braces, two basic pouches, haversack (small pack), bayonet in bayonet frog, entrenching tool in its carrier, and the water bottle in its carrier. The Caesar British Infantrymen above are also wearing the “respirator, anti-gas, light” on the left hip, which was introduced in 1943.
