German Panzer Mechanics
C-P Models 1:72 Scale Figure Review
C-P Models offers a unique set of German Panzer Mechanics which may be used to convert a medium or heavy half-tracked artillery prime mover into a recovery vehicle. These miniatures are 23 to 24 mm tall, well proportioned, and slender enough to be compatible with 1:72 scale plastic figures. The highly decorated NCO Panzer Mechanic wears the ribbon of the Iron Cross attached to his tunic. The figure poses are designed for a miniature diorama depicting a typical vehicle recovery scene.

Evaluation
Excellent choice of subject. German Panzer Mechanics are unique in this scale and they are nicely compatible with Revell’s Famo 18-ton recovery vehicle.
Excellent historic poses, the figures are in the process of recovering a stricken vehicle. One man is pulling a tow cable, while others are directing the recovery vehicle driver, carrying equipment, and guarding the scene.
Compatible with ESCI, Hasegawa, Revell, and Reviresco.
The figures are primarily designed for dioramas. The tiny figure bases are easily removed or slotted into a suitable diorama base. Wargamers may want to reduce the height of the bases by filing them down, before gluing the figure to a standard wargame base or vehicle stand.
These Panzer Mechanics are an excellent addition to the growing range of 1:72 scale compatible metal miniatures. Wargamers may deploy these figures on a Sd.Kfz. 7 or Sd.Kfz. 9 vehicle stand to convert an artillery prime mover into a recovery vehicle.
