»Khaki Green № 3«, or »Khaki Green G3 basic«, the base colour for all British Army equipment, introduced in February 1939, a mixture of Revell colours recommended by Mike Starmer compared to Polly Scale 505360 »Soviet Khaki« and Tamiya XF-51 »Khaki Drab«.

»Khaki Green № 3« was officially replaced by the new »Service Brown« base colour »S.C.C. № 2 Brown« in May 1942. Existing vehicles painted »Khaki Green № 3« were not to be repainted, until repainting became necessary for the purpose of routine maintenance or due to changing camouflage requirements in a different theater of operation.
