Sturmgepäck, the assault Pack of the Wehrmacht infantryman consisted of different sets for riflemen, submachine gunners, and No. 1 machine gunners. The ESCI submachine gunners pictured here are mistakenly equipped with the SG 84/98 Ausf. III, even though submachine gunners did not carry bayonets in combat.
