Wiking 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review
The Wiking 1:87 scale m.gl.Lkw. 3 t medium all-terrain truck (A-Type) is an attractive model, featuring an exceptionally well-fitting, removable canvas tilt. This appears to be a requisitioned civilian vehicle, as the Wiking Opel Blitz has noticeably lower drop sides than the ROCO m.gl.Lkw. medium 4×4 truck. Stowage boxes, Peilstangen, Notek Kfz-Nachtmarschgerät, jerrycans, tools, and other military equipment are missing. Basically, the Wiking Opel Blitz would be much better suited as a commerically available m.Lkw (o), which would then also have provided the correct chassis for the Wiking Truck, 3 t, Tank, Aviation Fuel and the Kfz. 305.
Compatible with HO scale model railway equipment and miniatures by Faller, Märklin, Noch, Pola, Preiser, and ROCO.
