ROCO 1:87 Scale Vehicle Review
The ROCO 1:87 scale Truck, Prime Mover, 6-ton, 6×6, Corbitt 50SD6 is a suitable prime mover for the 203 mm heavy Field Howitzer M115 (ROCO 119), the 155 mm heavy Field Gun M59 “Long Tom” (ROCO 120), the 120 mm Anti-Aircraft Gun M1A3 (ROCO 121), and the 155 mm Howitzer M1.

Evaluation
Scale model with good details, folding windscreen, and removable soft top. Unfortunately, there is no canvas tilt for the truck bed.
Cheap source of an important vehicle for wargamers and collectors. Good quality; minimal mould lines, but sprue on tires and other parts need to be removed before painting.
The model is sold fully assembled, ready to play. Wheels need to be immobilized to prevent the vehicle from rolling around on wargame terrain pieces.
Taillights, stop lights, direction indicator lights, and reflectors are missing at the rear of the truck. The glass of the windshield has become available as an after market product (ROCO 304).
On page 23 of his Battle! Practical Wargaming rules, Charles Grant included a photo of two ROCO 1:87 scale Corbitt 50SD6 prime movers as transports for 120 mm M.1938 mortar teams of Airfix 1:76 scale Soviet Infantry.
Compatible with HO scale model railway equipment and miniatures by ESPEWE, Faller, Märklin, Noch, Pola, Preiser, and Wespe Models.
The ROCO model of the Truck, Prime Mover, 6-ton, 6×6, Corbitt 50SD6 is readily available, inexpensive, and quite robust. Wargamers typically need several of these trucks to tow artillery.
